Return to Mood Change Walk

I was quite cross at the mood change walk for a while, because I had great difficulty coming up with a satisfying solution to the brief. I probably tried it three or four different ways, and still wasn’t happy with the results or what the finished project would end up looking like. Finally, after discussing the brief with my mother, she came up with an excellent concept that I hadn’t considered, and this exercise is now probably my favourite of the year so far!

I was finally able to finish this brief without it ending up something completely different to what was intended. Whilst it is still a pretty flat composition so that the walk cycles are clear, I feel that there is enough depth to make it interesting, and each of the important elements is made clear through use of colour. There are still some issues such as size inconsistency between the quadrupedal and bipedal walk cycles, but I do not think these are too major.

You can see how much of an improvement this is compared to the original. I think sometimes the challenging briefs are the most satisfying to complete and be happy with. I hope you like it too!
